My painting was inspired by the beauty and fragility of Sumatran tigers a rare and endangered big cat found on the island of Sumatra Indonesia. Habitat loss due to burning of rain forest to make way for palm oil plantations have devastated many species including the Orangutan that share this jungle environment.
