My name is Dadali, I am an artist born and educated in Iran in 1977. I was born and studied both art and medicine and exhibited in the cultural epicenter of Iran, the ancient and still thriving city of Isfahan.
My profession is as a Medical General Practitioner, but my passion is as an artist.
I have been producing works of art in Iran and Australia since 1998
My works have been reproduced as covers for books In Iran, my first solo exhibition in Iran was in 2001 in the major cultural and artistic city of Isfahan. I have had 4 other solo exhibitions since the first one.
I moved to Australia, choosing Sydney as my new home in 2007. In 2011 I exhibited as part of a group display at Paddington Town Hall.
In 2012 I moved to the rural Victorian town of Mildura where while practicing medicine to some of Australia's most disadvantaged and marginalised citizens, I continued to explore and grow my artistic skills. It was at this time that I was awarded the Magenta Arts Award of 2015.
In 2015, after taking home the 2015 Magenta Arts award, I then moved to the Lake Macquarie City of Cameron Park, it is at Cameron Park that I designed and built my art studio from the ground up, I was fortunate to be able to design the studio from the ground up and was then able to make the studio into a thriving artistic hub for my endeavours.
In December 2017 I acquired a space in Waterloo, turning the space into a Gallery / Coffee shop. I exhibited and sold my works of art at Cafe M in Potter Street, Waterloo, until the project was sold in May 2020.
I continue to mix my passion for Art and Medicine and I am happy to to undertake any commissions.
