This was a crazy painting done early in the first wave of the corona virus, Covid-19. An old painting, painted over with the left overs of some old paints.
Just a bit of fun. Edges painted in copper.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
Hi. I am self taught and have just got back into painting after a 10 year hiatus, due to depression.
As a child I was always drawing or copying cartoon characters. We had an endless supply of paper, as my Grandfather was a printer. I had no interest in school and was often the class clown. This didn't leave me with a great art portfolio, hence, I didn't get into the art course at TAFE. I did however get into the printing course and did an apprenticeship. This taught me to mix ink colours , as well as matching colour proofs to print.
I slipped on some oil at work and had back fusion surgery and took up painting during my rehab. I was made redundant in 2010 and basically didn't paint for 10 years, due to depression. I am rejuvenated and am loving painting again.
I paint in acrylic and I love bright, vibrant colours in abstract or Australian impressionism.
