With a love of Rugby and one of the all time legendary players, this had to be my first 'pop art' portrait. On an abstract background with layers added and sometimes scraped back to produce thousands of accidental free form shapes and colours.

With a 25 year background in graphic art and years working FIFO, painting has become my release. Influenced by aerial views and the raw Australian landscape, my abstract work is driven by instinct rather than rules. Each piece begins as a personal response to place, distance, and time, and is shared in the hope it connects beyond the canvas.
