‘Sit Into The Pause’ is an original painting from Dana’s ‘Amidst the Wildflowers’ collection.  She loves the softness and strength of wildflowers.  Colours meander through a landscape with an openness and a spaciousness.  She moves between blends and more distinct brushwork of natural forms, grounding herself in gentle colour and subtle vibrancy.

This original artwork will arrive unframed and ready to hang.  It will be signed on the back and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting continues over the edges of the canvas so that the artwork can be hung as is, or taken to your framer for a float frame.  The images in rooms are for framing inspiration and to help imagine what this artwork might be like in your space.

Painting is intrinsic to who she is and one of the most loved parts of her life.  She expresses her emotions through her art when words can’t fully reflect her inner world.

Dana starts with a colour palette then slowly builds up layers on her canvas, swapping between blending and distinct brushwork.  It's a to and fro of softening and detail, painting bolder marks, blending back, adding warmth and depth in each layer.  Through abstracts, Dana’s love of gentle colour, softness, light and natural forms are given expression in an emotive and intuitive language.

She has a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW and an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design (Illustration) from Design Centre Enmore.
