Artwork Description

This 24x24" acrylic painting is a tribute to Kendrick Lamar’s connection to nostalgia and storytelling, featuring a GNX car as a nod to the themes of power and legacy. Rendered in bold monochromatic strokes, the piece exudes a cinematic feel, blending raw emotion with sleek, timeless imagery. The textured background emphasizes isolation while framing the subject in stark contrast. Perfect for collectors and fans of Kendrick’s visionary artistry, this work bridges music and visual art in a way that resonates deeply.

Artist Bio

Art, in all its forms, is my essence—my passion, my compass. I move through life guided by creative expression, embracing every medium the moment calls for. From expansive murals to intricate paper works, my practice spans styles and scales, ever-shifting with each day.

My work has been exhibited across Australia and the U.S., from Sydney and Wollongong to The Bronx, Montana, and Philadelphia. I’ve had the honour of contributing to album art for iconic artists such as Westside Gunn, DJ Muggs, Cypress Hill, N.W.A., and many more.

At the heart of my work is an invitation—to step into my world, to feel something familiar and warm, to be transported to a simpler time. My goal is always to create, in whatever way I can—representing music, visual art, film, or the preservation and celebration of culture.

Keeping culture alive is not just a practice—it’s an honour and a responsibility. Through storytelling, I share the spirit of my people, bridging gaps in understanding, and offering insight through art and memory.

Come escape with me. Embrace the journey.
Life’s too short not to feel deeply.

With love,
Danial
