Artwork Description

Hooked Forever on paper
21x30cm

Captain Hook of Peter Pan fame, taken from the 90s classic, i still remember seeing this at the cinema. This original piece was featured in a self published softcover 65 page book i made, featuring the "villians" of the world, aptly titled SAY HELLO TO THE BAD GUYS. But was he?

Artist Bio

Danial Kelly

Art, in all its forms, is my essence—my passion, my compass. I move through life guided by creative expression, embracing every medium the moment calls for. From expansive murals to intricate paper works, my practice spans styles and scales, ever-shifting with each day.

My work has been exhibited across Australia and the U.S., from Sydney and Wollongong to The Bronx, Montana, and Philadelphia. I’ve had the honour of contributing to album art for iconic artists such as Westside Gunn, DJ Muggs, Cypress Hill, N.W.A., and many more.

At the heart of my work is an invitation—to step into my world, to feel something familiar and warm, to be transported to a simpler time. My goal is always to create, in whatever way I can—representing music, visual art, film, or the preservation and celebration of culture.

Keeping culture alive is not just a practice—it’s an honour and a responsibility. Through storytelling, I share the spirit of my people, bridging gaps in understanding, and offering insight through art and memory.

Come escape with me. Embrace the journey.
Life’s too short not to feel deeply.

With love,
Danial
