Acrylic on stretched canvas (ready to hang)

A companion piece to Lucid Dreaming, this work continues the visual meditation on family, dreaming, and connection. Built with the same care — dot by dot — Lucid Dreaming II expands on the original’s themes of kinship, nurturing, and the deep ties we share across generations.

Vibrant concentric forms echo like songs through time — each ring a memory, a heartbeat, or the quiet presence of those who walk beside us and those who came before. The piece is both grounding and expansive — a cosmic dance of ancestry and love.

The palette shifts slightly warmer, symbolizing growth, warmth, and the evolving rhythm of life. Together or on its own, Lucid Dreaming II is a work of care, spirit, and dreaming made real.

Ready to hang. Thank you for supporting original art.

Artist Bio

Danial Kelly
First Nations Australian
Wodi Wodi / Yuin Nation

Art, in all its forms, is my essence—my passion, my compass. I move through life guided by creative expression, embracing every medium the moment calls for. From expansive murals to intricate paper works, my practice spans styles and scales, ever-shifting with each day.

My work has been exhibited across Australia and the U.S., from Sydney and Wollongong to The Bronx, Montana, and Philadelphia. I’ve had the honour of contributing to album art for iconic artists such as Westside Gunn, DJ Muggs, Cypress Hill, N.W.A., and many more.

At the heart of my work is an invitation—to step into my world, to feel something familiar and warm, to be transported to a simpler time. My goal is always to create, in whatever way I can—representing music, visual art, film, or the preservation and celebration of culture.

Keeping culture alive is not just a practice—it’s an honour and a responsibility. Through storytelling, I share the spirit of my people, bridging gaps in understanding, and offering insight through art and memory.

Come escape with me. Embrace the journey.
Life’s too short not to feel deeply.

With love,
Danial
