Artwork Description

Fleeting Shadows / SOS Collection
Part 6

SPLINTERED REFLECTIONS

60cm x 90cm (each panel) x 3 / 1.8 x 90cm as tryptych

Mixed media, acrylics, and spray paint
Splintered Reflections conveys the fragmented nature of self-perception and identity. This triptych displays overlapping, distorted reflections, suggesting fractured experiences of the mind. Bold colours and abstract shapes hint at moments of internal conflict and fleeting clarity, capturing the struggle to piece together a cohesive sense of self.

Please note. Canvas only no stretched frame

Artist Bio

Danial Kelly
First Nations Australian
Wodi Wodi / Yuin Nation

Art, in all its forms, is my essence—my passion, my compass. I move through life guided by creative expression, embracing every medium the moment calls for. From expansive murals to intricate paper works, my practice spans styles and scales, ever-shifting with each day.

My work has been exhibited across Australia and the U.S., from Sydney and Wollongong to The Bronx, Montana, and Philadelphia. I’ve had the honour of contributing to album art for iconic artists such as Westside Gunn, DJ Muggs, Cypress Hill, N.W.A., and many more.

At the heart of my work is an invitation—to step into my world, to feel something familiar and warm, to be transported to a simpler time. My goal is always to create, in whatever way I can—representing music, visual art, film, or the preservation and celebration of culture.

Keeping culture alive is not just a practice—it’s an honour and a responsibility. Through storytelling, I share the spirit of my people, bridging gaps in understanding, and offering insight through art and memory.

Come escape with me. Embrace the journey.
Life’s too short not to feel deeply.

With love,
Danial
