Artwork Description

This painting let me explore colour and free myself up with loose brush strokes and complimentary colours! This painting was inspired by the classic painter Pierre Bonnard!
This piece was painted at the Farm house at Marshall Mount on the south coast of NSW. Marshall Mount house was the first house in the Illawarra in the 1800s.
The painting depicts a typical farmers life where a morning nap is needed after milking the dairy cows at 4am.
Just love the morning sun shine through the window as you look out over Albion Park and towards Jambaroo!
This painting is somewhat way off my style but loved every minute of it!
Will do some more paintings in this style.

Artist Bio

As an accomplished oil painter, I specialise in capturing the breathtaking beauty of seascapes and landscapes. My passion lies in the intricate play of light and its reflection in nature, which I strive to bring to life in every piece. My work seeks to establish a profound connection with viewers, drawing them into the realism and serenity of the scenes I paint.

I am a self-taught artist, deeply inspired by my grandmother, an exceptional artist in her own right. Her talent and passion for art ignited my own creative journey from an early age. She taught me to see the world through an artist's eyes, and her influence is a cornerstone of my artistic development.

My journey is also fueled by the unwavering support of my loving wife and our three wonderful daughters. They are my motivation and strength, encouraging me to pursue my dream of becoming a professional artist. Their belief in my vision and talent keeps me dedicated to perfecting my craft and sharing my artistic voice with the world.

Through my paintings, I invite you to explore the stunning interplay of light and nature, to feel the tranquility of the landscapes, and to experience the connection that realism can bring. Thank you for joining me on this artistic journey.
