The Ocean Lighthouse

I really wanted to capture to morning sunrise shining through the breaking waves giving it the turquoise glow while standing behind the lighthouse in its shadow.
The sky is full of life with a storm brewing in the background where the rough ocean is full of movement and turbulent waves. I tried to capture the moment in the waves where you can almost just feel the salt spray coming off the lighthouse breakwall.
I really loved the journey that this painting took me on as it reminds me of the time I spent traveling around Tasmania where I visiting many of the light houses on the coastal fringes.
This painting would be a great eddition to the coastal home or a room that wants to let the ocean in.
