Daniel’s work is attacked with emotion, colour and is a direct translation of what his surroundings speak to him. He uses strong, fast mark-making to express an idea or reaction.
His work, although abstract, has an unmistakable landscape influence. Although his paintings appear to be a carefree exercise in creation, each facet is carefully developed and thought out to harmonise with it’s neighbouring brush stroke.
He specialises in large abstract but also concentrates on smaller works depicting the essenceof a place.
