Artist Bio

Hi,

Thank you for visiting my profile!

Born and raised in Germany, I grew up in a historic village perched between the Black Forest and the Rhine Valley, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful scenery. Holidays throughout Europe during my childhood, hikes and ski trips in Switzerland and many walks through picturesque mountain regions have built the base for my affinity with nature. After living in Australia for over 20 years, having spent 7 years in the Northern Territory, my family and I are based on the Gold Coast.

Having travelled across the world, I have been fortunate to explore stunning and diverse landscapes, visit many incredible national parks with their unique natural wonders and gain insights into different cultures. I have a true love and appreciation for nature, landscapes and colour, and having been creative in one way or another most of her life, I have turned to painting with acrylics over the last couple of years.

My landscapes are mostly imaginary, full of colour, pattern and textured, inspired by countries and sceneries come across throughout my life. I believes that the art you have in your home should bring you joy; make you smile and add a personal touch.

When I long for mountains, particular sceneries or just want to be surrounded by nature and physically can't be there, I simply paint landscapes that transport me to those magical places and bring me that feeling of contentment. Personally, it brings me joy and happiness and I hope that you can feel that and find the magic too.
