Artwork Description

I mass planted Dahlias in my garden in September 2015. Every day I would walk around my garden to watch them grow . I had no idea what colour they would be, until the day came when the first bud bloomed , and then more, and more quickly followed ---what a spectacular display of beauty , and all white. Textured.

Artist Bio

Daniela was born in Victoria, had moved to W.A, then Qld and now she resides in beautiful Tasmania. Her mother and father loved to paint. This inspired her, at a very young age ,to draw and paint anything that caught her interest. Daniela learnt a lot by watching her parents at work --- Her dad loved painting landscapes and her mother mainly painted flowers. She is very much self taught, though she then worked under the tuition of Mrs M. Fitzgerald-Boyle, and later went to Tafe College for further art studies. Daniela works in Acrylic, Oils, Pastel, Gouache, some watercolour and mixed media. She likes to create moods with concentration of colour composition, straight from life experiences.
