Artwork Description

The Geraldton wax flower is a flowering plant native to Western Australia. It is known for its delicate blooms that can be white, pink, or purple, and is popular in the cut flower industry due to its long-lasting flowers in vases. The plant features needle-thin leaves that emit a pleasant lemony fragrance when crushed, and it produces clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers.

Artist Bio

Like a lot of artist, I am inspired by the living world around me. A lot of my art pieces are created from favourite holiday destinations on hikes or outdoor adventure. I’m a bit of a plant nerd and have always been drawn to the colours and shapes that nature gives us. I am a woman of faith, a wife, a mother a small business owner and these art works come from a place of joy, hope and happiness.
