Artwork Description

There’s something so uniquely Australian about walking through the bush and looking up to see the gum trees covered in these delicate blossoms. They’re so fleeting—you can’t pick them and put them in a vase, and they don’t last long—but for a few magical weeks God transforms the landscape into a celebration of colour. This piece is my way of capturing that brief moment of beauty, so it can be enjoyed long after the flowers have fallen.
Every frame is handcrafted from recycled Australian timber, this one is Australian brush box. carefully sourced from around Melbourne. We never use pine—only beautiful, character-filled hardwood with a story to tell. Each piece of timber is reclaimed, milled, and transformed into a frame that complements the artwork while giving new life to a precious natural resource. It’s a sustainable choice that’s kinder to the environment and makes every framed piece truly one of a kind.

Artist Bio

Like a lot of artist, I am inspired by the living world around me. A lot of my art pieces are created from favourite holiday destinations on hikes or outdoor adventure. I’m a bit of a plant nerd and have always been drawn to the colours and shapes that nature gives us.
