This piece is part of a series inspired by my personal bottle collection - objects I’ve gathered over time for their subtle beauty and the way light dances through their translucent forms. After five years of studying still life painting, I’ve become especially interested in how everyday objects can express quiet connection and presence. This work reflects that exploration, inviting the viewer to pause and notice the harmony found in familiar things.
Painted in oil on canvas, the piece was built up slowly in layers to capture the depth and glow of glass. Its warm tones and gentle composition are intended to bring a moment of delight into the home -something beautiful within the everyday. It would feel at home in a kitchen, a sunlit stairwell, or as part of a grouping in a living space.
