As with a lot of my work, this piece explores the beauty and chaos of an anxious and overthinking mind.

The last few years have been full of change and uncertainty for everyone. In this piece, I explore the concept that through all the change, some things (like having a little crush) will always make you buzz!

I live in Canberra with my beautiful wife, and two fur children (but will always be a West Australian at heart).

Art has been a powerful form of expression for me as I navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, infertility and loss. Through painting, I have reclaimed joy, and found beauty and light amid the the chaos and sadness.

I feel so much pride and a sense of catharsis as I see each layer come together to embody my thoughts and feelings.
My hope is that others will identify with the emotions I felt as I painted, and will also feel some of that joy and hope emerging from the chaos.
