Born in Southend-On-Sea, Essex, U.K. I Immigrated 1965 with my family to Australia. My interest in art started at the age of 5 when my Irish Uncle who was an artist would show me how to colour, use brushes and paint. Then my interest carried through to my teenage years attending art classes at night school in U.K.
In Australia 1968 my art study continued with learning ticket writing in Brisbane. I did commissions and painted for many years then attended fulltime study at Queensland College of Art 1984 – 1985 studying fine arts, illustration and design. In 1985 I became a freelance artist, designing greeting cards and calendars for a publishing company in Brisbane, Queensland.
1984 Donated a watercolour painting for the Australian Freedom From Hunger Campaign
1985 exhibited at St. Lucia University, Brisbane when The Medical Doctors Convention was on.
1986 I had an exhibition at Mayes Cottage, Logan City., Qld
1986 Provided an exhibition of my work for the Australian Red Cross Society at the Logan Flora Function, Qld
1988 exhibited at Logan City Council Chambers, Qld
1996 80 Kookaburra prints were sold to a chain of restaurants in USA.
2005 Had a successful exhibition in Bournemouth, UK where I exhibited a selection of my paintings on English country art.
2016 Donated a painting to create funds for the Cancer Foundation, Qld
2016 Painting demonstration and art exhibition at Logan Hyperdome, Qld

1991 in U.K I designed stained glass overlay for the domestic market. Then from 1994 – 1998 in Queensland I continued to create and design stain glass overlay. In 1996 I studied at Queensland Business College fulltime on computers, studying graphic art, design and business administration.
My paintings have been sold in U.K, America, New Zealand and Australia and I am known for my wild life paintings and in particular bird life, but at the same time I am versatile in painting all subjects including, landscapes, sea-life and people.
