Artwork Description

This artwork was of a flood plain that is fed by a river call Gulari in Wiradjuri language, from overflow flood waters. It is a system of flood land seasonal lakes on great expansive grass and wood lands inhabited by massive flocks of wildlife, because of this the Wiradjuri tribe and neighboring tribes hunted there in spring and summer months. Traditional site of rock grooving, making of stone implement are found around the area as well as scar trees found from Wiradjuri people making canoes. This land now known as lake cowal was in the Bland Shire.
Baiame the Wiradjuri creator provided and sustained the Wiradjuri tribe in season that thanks was given by ceremonial corroborees, these sacred sites within that area were kept by the elders and clever men.
As a Wiradjuri man that has return to be on land, I can certainly feel the presents of the wisdom spoken in the Wiradjuri belief of an all-mighty unseen creator, and his ever present with us he is known by the Wiradjuri as Baiame. I was given blessing to paint and see what I see from the old people passing down Yandamarra to me. For 28 years I have painted, and I still feel this excitement from a new artwork reflection of the spirit and sole of peace and wisdom. I chase this again and again in each artwork to get more power and find that inner peace. My dream is to share Wiradjuri belief of Baiame the creator, whom we now believe created Jesus born of a virgin the only true son of God but through his death and resurrection we to are children of God.
Some people would say how can a Wiradjuri or a primitive culture accept the Jesus from the bible, my answer is we knew him in the spirit and live by his laws better than white man. Our ideology was not about building a wealthy society by enslaving many for a select few privileged, but rather serving our God who engrave law on our conscience. Unlike a society system profiting from wars and harnessing technologies to bottleneck humanity into the select few controlees. This painting is depicting the love and respect all humanity should have for God the almighty creating humanity, the world should not respect the manipulation of the power by the few elites on earth creating a system to worship money.
Eternity created for those who have ears to hear eyes to see and a will to obey what is a fact, the spirits above cast out of heaven to hell lead those with a vision of grandeur on this earth and after life.
I serve him who says ask and you will receive, knock and the door be open to you, be not afraid for I am with you, endure until death and I with receive you into eternal paradise.
I am sure as every man will be judged by his or her level of understanding of God, I as a Wiradjuri believer will be justified by his faith on judgment day as good and faithful.
Thank you very much.
