Artwork Description

Sitting within LaPage's arasol collection, "Reflection Z" takes a mirrors' ntended use and creates a living attraction. Drawing on abstract influence as a stand alone design for the right room, it also lives within LaPages commentary, constantly opening the lines of comflict between tradition, and street influences, on symbols and icons of our beleif systems and how thier meaning shifts when placed in unexpected contexts. LePage here reclaims the cross from the crusifix yet references the blood that runs so freely from its most common usage.
This piece also sits within LePage's reworked style where the canvas is a vintage wooden mirror, it's damage adding to the overall sense of deconstruction. Of the reflection and ourselves.s

Sold work includes re-purposed classical mirrors, sets of photographic work with post production hand detailing and industrial sculptures.

Current work includes
Religious artifacts detaiked with aerosol, providing a unique aesthetic desired for modern warehouse living by style and by design.
Mirrored canvas's detailed with abstract design to provide beautiful aesthetic focal points in a room that also play with light and our need to reflect on how we look.
Photographic work focused on portraits of individuals, with post design elements added both digitally and by hand, creating a sense of doubt around the medium and sometimes literally bleeding meaning onto the frames.
