This painting is part of a body of work exploring blurry lines between digital and physical experiences and processes.
The piece is an abstract gestural drawing, digitally rendered in 3D , virtually photographed, redrawn as a vector illustration, lasercut out of mdf, painted by hand and reassembled.
The work has been exhibited with a projection mapped animation over the top creating an optional augmented reality aspect to the piece.
As well as this, the piece has a digitally re-created and animated virtual sculpture equivalent, which was minted as an NFT.
