Stairway to Elysium, the name Elysium referred to Greek mythology in which heroes on whom the gods conferred immortality were sent to this land of perfect happiness at the end of the Earth. This painting, this dream-like state of abstraction of Mornington foreshore is a reminder of how lucky we are to live in Australia and for some of us in Melbourne, the Elysium plain, this land of perfect happiness in the Mornington Peninsula. The painting is new and in excellent condition, it is signed with monogram on bottom right corner. Set in a modern wooden frame and is approximately 94 x 64 x 4cm in size.
