Artist Bio

Since completing my PhD in Art History at the University of Melbourne in July 2019 I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher, sessional lecturer and tutor in the School of Culture and Communications at the University of Melbourne. I have also worked as a sessional tutor at Monash University for three years. My research has been published in a range of academic journals, edited books and news media. Research distinctions include the Art History program’s Dwight Final Assessment Prize (Fine Arts) for academic merit 2014, the Australian Post-Graduate Award 2015, the Australian Centre PhD Top-Up Scholarship for academic merit 2015 and the Paul Mellon Centre Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Paul Mellon Centre for studies in British Art in 2020.

In addition to my academic interests, I am also an enthusiastic sculptor. I like to work in a variety of mediums including clay, wax, plaster, resin and bronze. I have participated in many exhibitions across Melbourne including the Toorak Small Sculpture exhibition on four occasions.
