My inspiration is the reflections captured in the chrome and painted surface of classic cars. Modern cars have little chrome, and this reflection is not as prevalent. I use light as the catalyst and how it imparts on the subject matter. When light hits an object, it reflects, refracts, casts shadows and is even absorbed in the object. I focus on how I interpret this light as it reveals colour and form. A trip to Spain’s Paradors revealed this treasured 50’s gem. Don’t you just love its profile!
