An exercise in figurative expression using bold colours and relating cool and warm hues. I painted this on a freezing winter’s day - probably hoping to warm up.

I’m basically a self taught artist having painted most of my life. I attended, for a brief period tech college in Sydney wher I received some basic training in drawing, colour and composition. Portraits and figures have been my main subjects but all subject matter interests me. I’m particularly drawn to still life at the moment. Blue Thumb seems to be an exciting and modern way to show my art and I’m keen to be part of its membership.
