I was listening to the Beatles song ‘Alone on a Hill ‘on the radio and I wondered what I could paint that could represent the song. A lone bench and a lone bird and a lone hill: All ‘Alone on a Hill!’ The featured bird is a tiny UK Goldcrest (Regulus regulus) is a very small passerine bird in the kinglet family. It is a common year-round bird, found mainly in woodland and gardens
