Artwork Description

The image is a captivating painting of a blue wave crashing between the ocean before it breaks.

The painting is on a black canvas, with a black frame around it. The wave's crest is a bright blue-green, and the water's turquoise color where it crashes against the ocean adds to the rhythm of the dynamic energy of the wave. White spray is seen above it.

The surface of the water in the fore- and under-ground of the wave'scrash are white and bright turquoise and turquoise respectively. The background is dark and navy blue-gray, which creates a dramatic atmosphere. The overall effect of the painting is one of dynamic movement and energy, and is like observing a high-quality photograph.
Small bubbles are scattered along the top of the painting, suggesting the spray of the crashing wave. The overall effect of the painting is beautiful.
