Artwork Description

I lived for nearly 10 years on Macleay Island and have always found the ocean and sky inspiring. As the sun was setting, I saw the storm coming from the north over the channel towards Stradbroke Island. I ran as far north as I could, then chased the storm along the waterfront, trying to document the rapidly changing colours with my camera. It had a huge energy, like some giant living thing, which did not translate into photos, but which I have tried to capture.
