This diptych captures a quiet drive through Hahndorf, a charming German town near Adelaide. I painted it from the perspective of a passenger sitting in the car—one panel looking out the side window, the other through the front windshield.

On the left, you see a peaceful street corner with locals chatting near an old church, bathed in golden afternoon light. On the right, the main road stretches ahead, lined with trees glowing in autumn colors. I wanted to show the slow, gentle rhythm of the town—how even just sitting in the car, watching the world outside, feels like being part of a story.
