Big, bold, vibrant paintings created with quality materials, that's what you'll find here! Hi there, I'm Dayarne, an abstract mixed media artist based in the NSW Hunter Valley. I'm obsessed with colour and texture and love nothing more than getting into my studio and throwing paint around. Literally! My paintings are lively and gestural, with drips, splashes and playful mark-making. My painting process is all about having fun, experimenting with new tools and techniques and creating work that I hope brings others as much joy as it does to me.

I create depth with lots and lots (and LOTS) of layers and love the variety of texture I can inject into a painting using mixed media. My paintings are primarily created in acrylic, but I also love to incorporate graphite, charcoal, ink, oil pastel, collage and spray paint. Whatever I think the painting calls for, I'll try it.
