This painting came together in many layers, building up deep blues and purples, then scraping back, blending, and adding pops of brighter colour like punchy magenta and hints of green.
It leans into that moody, early-evening feeling when everything is fading into shadow but the sky still holds some light.
I used a mix of tools—brushes for soft, blended areas and palette knives for more textured sections. You’ll see drips, scratches, and marks left on purpose to keep it feeling loose and alive. Some parts are smooth and hazy, others are more raw and energetic.
This painting is on a stretched canvas with the edges painted a complementary colour for a sleek finish. It can be hung without an external frame, however professional framing in a floating frame is available via Bluethumb and can be selected when adding to cart.
Images of the painting framed may be included to help collectors visualise what the painting will look like framed.
The painting is initialed on the front, signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
