Dayarne Smith is an Australian abstract artist who paints with instinct, energy, and a deep love of colour. Based in Muswellbrook, in the NSW Upper Hunter, she works from her home studio, surrounded by the ever-changing rural landscape. Her paintings are bold, layered, and expressive—imagined places that feel familiar but can’t be pinned down.

She works primarily with acrylic and mixed media, letting each painting take shape as she goes.
