Lockdown Scribbles

Sydney has been forced back into lockdown again which means a lot more time to draw. This is the first of hopefully many projects to get me through lockdown.

This original piece is hand-drawn by artist Dean Spinks in his unique photorealistic style using Copic markers on A3 Strathmore Bristol paper.

Obsessed with the symmetry and expression of the human face, Dean works almost exclusively in portraits. Using black ink markers, his unique crosshatching style allows for high contrast and great detail, creating dramatic, impactful works of art.
