Artwork Description

Trickster stands firmly amongst the polarity of chaos and love, resistance and joy
With a smirk that shines in the light,
And a frown that grimaces in the dark,
With ease she spins her staff of destruction and joy
Reminding each of us that each choice made can lead us closer to our own power or demise

Being a shapeshifter, trickster can be difficult to spot, but once we are aware of this clever archetypal power we can free it’s spirit by choosing to play, be present, move and spread our wings rather than choose destructive patterns or tendencies that only keep us from our true power. The paradox is, that even in our blindness, trickster will find a way to poke us awake.

Oil paint, sealed and protected with varnish. Ready to hang on the wall or frame. Signature at front and back. High quality canvas mounted onto board. Certificate of authenticity on back.

Artist Bio

Welcome to my page! I’m a visionary artist based in Sydney, where I grew up and have been producing art my whole life. Making art is my deepest passion and the most authentic way for me to express myself. I create art to connect more deeply to my inner nature and usually my appreciation for the female form and natural world proves to be a beautiful structure to represent my visionary insights, internal phenomena, passions and far reaching ideals.
Some of my interests that feed into my work include dancing, psychology (namely Jungian), spirituality and the natural world. I usually work in oil paints or mixed mediums with my approach varying depending on what will best express the chosen subject.
I create work primarily as a tool for inner transformation. Art making in itself can be very therapeutic, but my intention is to take it a step further into unknown realms by expressing the life force within my own psyche that may come through as personal and universal archetypal symbols or figures.
