Artist Bio

My art is very eclectic and depends on what inspires me at any given time, so you will see a wide variety of styles in my portfolio. My creations are inspired by joy with a positive message.

I thoroughly loved and lived for sketching and drawing in my high school days. It got me through a lot!!! After school I got a job in Graphic Design back when we literally did cut & paste. I loved it! I got married, had two beautiful girls, ran a business with my hubby for many years and also worked in the beauty industry and learnt many, many lessons.

Like so many others, life, responsibilities and other people’s expectations of me got in the way of what I was meant to do.

As I got older however I realised that there was a deep yearning inside for more.

After years of soul-searching I discovered that it was a call back to art. The longer I tried to ignore it, the worse it got until eventually after a long period of burnout I decided to honour what my gut was trying to tell me.

I made some changes in my life, started studying (still studying) everything I can to do with art…the foundations, abstract, realism, colour theory and everything in between.
Every day that I moved closer to art, that emptiness inside started to disappear.

These days I get to make art from my beautiful, light-filled studio on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and I feel deeply, truly happy.

I am grateful to do what I love now and enjoy sharing my love of art with others as a Creative Coach.
