Artist Bio

Deb is a self-taught artist with no formal training, her passion for animals and wildlife conservation has inspired her to paint with pastel and charcoal as her primary mediums. Deb also enjoys working on scratchboard.

Deb aims to support wildlife conservation through the sales of her artwork, attempting to save endangered species from extinction so that her grandchildren and our future generations can enjoy them.

Proceeds of all sales are donated to wildlife conservation causes annually. These causes are selected by Deb, either through association with wildlife groups and zoos at home, and also meetings on her travels, helping to choose a cause that is close to her heart. Deb currently volunteers for Southern Koala and Echidna Rescue here in SA and supports SKER's vision for wildlife conservation and research through her art. Saving Australia's endangered species is more important than ever in our current climate!

Deb has held many joint exhibitions over recent years with her Husband Steve, these exhibitions showcase art and photography from their travels and adventures in Australia and overseas! All proceeds of sales of art and photography are donated to conservation of wildlife. Awareness of wildlife conservation is high on their agenda!!

Deb has been a member of the Pastel Artists of South Australia since 2014, and currently holds the office of Treasurer.
