One of the simplest joys in life as a young family living in south western Sydney was a day trip to Stanwell Park via Stanwell Tops, NSW
We'd always stop at the top of the escarpment to watch the gliders of all kinds fly in the sky! Those simple joys became loving memories for me so what better than to paint the delights of a famous coastline near the city of Sydney.
My contemporary form of line and colour depict the cool shades of summer while a paraglider weaves his magic in the air. It's simple, yet recognisable to those who frequent the area and feel the connection they have with the land, air and for us, the sea.
