Inspired by mangroves and how they straddle two worlds - ocean and land - and embody binaries of beautiful/ugly, useful/useless, above/ below, tough/fragile, submerged/exposed, seen/unseen, whilst being part of an intricate network of connections between each other, the Earth, water, air and the creatures that inhabit the same liminal space.
