Acrylic on paper
Signed on the front.
Lockdown Larry by Deb Webb is a quirky rendition of an owl. This owl is just staring straight ahead as if it just doesn't know what just hit him. As I live in Melbourne, this owl just had to be shared. He is a product of Lockdown. All sides of it. Whilst I found him humourous, I'm totally aware of the devastation that has occurred with lockdowns.
I believe we need to keep our humour if we can, keep ourselves filled with gratitude and joy, for if we don't , we succumb to the despair that is prevalent.
Art in my opinion, can be used to lift us, keep us smiling or laughing or just feeling good. This painting would be a great addition to a home office or a spot where some uncomfortable staring would be funny.
