Orbits of life by Deb Webb - an intuitive abstract art work inspired by everyday shapes.
Art for me is a letting go, releasing what no longer serves you. The process of adding colour, removing colour, adding shapes, covering shapes is much like life. We add things and take things away but in the end, we are left with something colourful and balanced. This piece would brighten up a space as it is always interesting to look at.
It was created using acrylics, glazes, pens and then varnished with a slight gloss to seal. A wooden frame was then attached. The colours are shades of reds, shades of green and shades of yellow. There is also some fluorescent paint dabbed in for extra pop.
