Memory Stone

This painting explores the quiet presence of the land—how it holds memory, stillness, and time. The lone boulder feels both grounded and mysterious, like a witness to something long forgotten. The soft, muted tones create a dreamlike atmosphere, inviting reflection and pause.

I am a Melbourne-based artist. I have just completed the BFA at RMIT, so many of my works come from university-based projects. I am mostly inspired by nature, but I like to challenge myself, so anything really can be an inspiration for the next piece, nature, thoughts, feelings or a memory even. I think we are all creative human beings, all of us trying to find the language to best express ourselves.
