After high school, I went to business college to honor my Dad’s wishes and then headed off to the College of Art to pursue mine. The next step was university where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in Art. I have my diploma in diploma getting messed up Intentional Creativity and have tremendously enjoyed painting with acrylics and oil, although I spent most of my creative life doing watercolor.
Each painting I create tells a story that develops as I paint. I start with a theme and then just listen and watch and let the paintbrush guide me. The unseen becomes seen as I discover hidden aspects of myself, deep feelings, and unexpected insights. Through painting, I see the potential to release trauma, wounds, and feelings that have been locked up for years. I get excited about changing the brain and our perspective through paint and having fun doing it!
