Inspired by Gerhard Richtor's cloud paintings, and my fascination with the endless shifting shapes and personalities of clouds. I call this cloud a Maverick as it seems to have broken away from the pack and is flying solo. This was referenced from one of my many photos taken from the passenger window on a road trip to the country. The deep cobalt blue background is a dramatic contrast for the various paler hues used to create the cloud form, variations and shadows.
