Deborah Robbs is an Australian artist whose work explores the connection between nature, spirit, and the emotional landscapes that shape our lives. Working predominantly in oils and acrylics, she creates expressive paintings inspired by horses, animals, the Australian landscape, and the unseen energy that connects us to the natural world.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty of the Australian bush and spending time in Papua New Guinea during the 1970s, Deborah developed a lifelong fascination with colour, light, and the relationship between people, animals, and place. Horses have remained a central theme throughout her artistic journey, symbolising freedom, strength, healing, and intuition.
Her intuitive painting process combines bold colour, rich texture, and expressive mark-making to create works that invite contemplation and emotional connection. Each piece is created with intention, capturing not only the physical presence of its subject but also its spirit and story. Whether painting a majestic horse, a tranquil billabong at sunrise, or a symbolic animal portrait, Deborah's work seeks to evoke a sense of peace, wonder, and belonging.
Alongside her art practice, Deborah brings more than thirty years of experience in holistic healing and spiritual coaching, which naturally informs her creative process. Her paintings are an extension of her belief that art has the power to heal, inspire, and reconnect us with ourselves and the world around us.
Through her work, Deborah invites collectors to bring beauty, meaning, and a sense of the sacred into their homes—creating spaces that nurture reflection, joy, and connection.
