Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

The women are travelling from Kintore to Lake Hopkins - a large expanse of salt lakes to the north of Tjukurla community - an epic journey of the dreaming times. They are singing and dancing on the way and stopping to camp at the rockholes. Deborah learned this traditional design from her mother and the stories associated with it.

This work is stretched, the edges are painted black.
