Butterfly Effect is to me the ripple effect that humans have on this planet and the effect we have on our environment and nature. Whilst walking through some amazing walking tracks , I have notices many different types of butterflies this year, many more that previous years. These beautiful butterflies have been the inspiration for Butterfly Effect and the way butterflies flutter by you in the air and there freedom of movement.. I love the feeling of freedom and bright cheerful colours of pink , a little magenta and white for the flowers. The blue butterflies I painted with layers of acrylic paint, using mixed media, then a touch gold and a touch of black for there feelers. The acrylic paint has a light textured feel on the canvas and Butterfly Effect has a Gloss finish and is ready to hang.
