My subjects are influenced by my travels, my garden and the photographs that I have taken. I love recreating some of my favourite images.
I have done several commissions of paintings for children’s bedrooms, using images of their favourite things and places.
With each new painting I learn more of the excitement that comes from creating something special, with tonal values, colours, composition and light.
Being a member of Creativity Cluster has inspired me to expand my art practice, with this group I won a grant from the Melbourne City Council to stage an exhibition at the Docklands Library Gallery.
I have had two solo and two group exhibitions in UK and Italy have also participated in approximately thirty group exhibitions, in Victoria.
