A beautiful lighthouse evokes such feelings of adventure and romance.  These wonderful buildings hold a treasure trove of stories of the lighthouse keepers, the powerful storms and the ships and boats that they have kept safe over their many years.

Officially opened in December 1901, the Cape Byron Lightstation is one of the most well known and highly visited lighthouses in Australia. It is located on the most eastern point of Australia, allowing locals and visitors a wonderful view of the sunrise and passing whales from a high vantage point.

This painting uses supple shades of grey to portray both the peacefulness of the Byron Bay area but also the storms that the lighthouse protects ships against. The architectural features of the lighthouse are wonderful.

This may be a gift for the sailor in your family or a friend.  Or maybe a gift to yourself that may recapture some of your experiences.

Colours of lavender and bisque provide a background for bright orange and pink flowers. Different patterns and shapes provide a funky feel to the painting. White windows opening out to an ocean vista overlooking the people on the beach at Mooloolaba. In the foreground are the architectural features of The Pavilion restaurant and in the background is Mudjimba Island, the lighthouse at Point Cartwright and the yachts racing on Sunday afternoon. This painting depicts the "chilled" lifestyle of Byron Bay with an abstract man relaxing on a Boucle couch with a Corona Beer. The background is the beautiful ocean surrounding the very iconic Bryon Bay lighthouse. The inside area reflects modern design features including roman plaster walls and ceiling and a very fashionable Boucle couch.Colourful Miami scene with palm trees, ocean, swimming pool in background with very inviting watermelon daiquiris and a pink flamingo pitcher of refill daiquiris in the foreground.
