I love the challenge of setting and dousing a spinnaker.  It can go spectacularly right or devastatingly wrong! I enjoy the process and teamwork it takes to fly a spinnaker and have it set for maximum performance.

There is such a thrill of downwind steering, surfing the waves and watching the boat speed lift as it catches a powerful wave.

A fleet of yachts all flying different coloured spinnakers is such a delightful sight for spectators on the shore.

This painting is painted onto an original chart (produced in 1993) of Lifuka in Tonga.  I have used the beautiful blues and aquas used in the chart.  A helmsman steers the boat and a grinder helps the spinnaker trimmer as they sail to their destination.

Quintessential image of Chefchaouen Morocco with large arched timber door, heavy plaster walls, aged and worn pots and cobblestone - blue of course. The opened door provides a peek into the courtyard of the Riad acccommodation with its gorgeous aqua pool reflecting the arched architecture.Colours of lavender and bisque provide a background for bright orange and pink flowers. Different patterns and shapes provide a funky feel to the painting. This painting depicts the "chilled" lifestyle of Byron Bay with an abstract man relaxing on a Boucle couch with a Corona Beer. The background is the beautiful ocean surrounding the very iconic Bryon Bay lighthouse. The inside area reflects modern design features including roman plaster walls and ceiling and a very fashionable Boucle couch.Colourful Miami scene with palm trees, ocean, swimming pool in background with very inviting watermelon daiquiris and a pink flamingo pitcher of refill daiquiris in the foreground.
